Ever since we heard Lola duet with her mother and music legend Annie Lennox at the Global Citizens concert during the lockdown on Heaven Must Be Missing an Angel, everyone knew Lola was a star in the making.
Lola is currently living in Los Angeles but is originally from London and Back at Wrong is the third release by the 29 year old.
Back At Wrong really does show how much potential Lola has as an artist. This song is catchy, current and a song that shows Lola is not going to be hiding in her mothers shadow.
From the opening of the song you are instantly hooked, its punchy, upbeat and really draws you in to listening to Lola's stunning voice. There is a real sense that this song is very personal to Lola, there is a passion behind the power in her voice.
With the producing done by Dan Muckala who has worked witht he like of Echosmith and Teisto and then the additional support of Annie Lennox and Braeden Wright, this song is going to be a major hit in the mainstream of the music charts.
Overall, I think we have a rising star on our hands. This song really shows Lola's vocal ability, there is a lot of power and passion in her voice, this song has hit written all over it.
