We have recently been sent the brand new single from Georgia Nevada called 'The Devil Dealt Me You which comes out 26/2.
The track was inspired by Georgia’s move, in the name of romance, from Stevenage to Brighton. Within one month of meeting her significant other, the artist moved over 100 miles from her family and fortunately – despite the risk – her relocation has worked out.
“We’ve all heard the phrase ‘lucky in love’ and that accurately describes my own romantic experience,” explained Georgia. “My family was shocked by my decision to move so quickly and my friends hedged their bets that things wouldn’t work out, but Lady Luck helped me prove them wrong.”
The first thing that stands out to me about the track is Georgia's authentic vocal tone, her vocals are fresh and really shine through the song. This sounds a very personal song to Georgia, there is a lot of passion in the vocal and the lyrics telling quite a story.
The structure of the song helps grip the listener to the song, with great rise and fall and the build to the chorus this makes the song very gripping and you want to hear the song to the last note.
This is a very strong single that leaves the listener wanting to hear more and has definitely wet our appetites to hearing Georgia's next release.
Overall, we are really excited to hear what comes next from Georgia after listening to this song and also the song she is releasing with fellow rising country singer Charlotte Young, we think she is going to be a force to reckon with on the Country chart this year.
